Tasting Note

Bright red and dark berry fruits (raspberry, plum) with black pepper, earthy/meaty notes, savory herbs and a lift of spice and vanilla. Medium-plus body, chalky powdery tannins, fresh acidity and a long, savory finish.

Western: grilled lamb chops, peppered steak, roasted root vegetables, charcuterie and blue cheese. Asian: Korean barbecue (bulgogi), char siu pork, spicy Sichuan beef, teriyaki skewers, grilled eggplant with miso.
