Tasting Note
Dense dark-berry and plum fruit with black pepper, dried herbs, and dark chocolate. Earthy, meaty undertones, lush palate, juicy acidity and firm, grippy tannins with a long, spicy finish.

Food Pairing
Grilled lamb, barbecued beef, braised short ribs, roast game, hearty stews; Asian: Sichuan pepper beef, Korean BBQ, char siu, spicy noodle dishes, miso-glazed eggplant.

Production Method
Estate fruit fermented in traditional vats, portions matured in oak; minimal fining/filtration. Blend assembled post‑maturation and bottled as a traditional Shiraz–Grenache blend.

Vineyard Info
D'Arenberg, family-owned since 1912 in McLaren Vale. Named for Francis “d’Arry” Osborn; Chester Osborn oversees winemaking and the winery is known for hands-on, terroir-driven wines.
