Tasting Note

Perfumed blackcurrant, mulberry and plum with dark chocolate, violets, bay leaf and saline minerality. Fine-grained tannins, lively acidity and an unctuous, long savory finish.

Production Method

Estate biodynamic viticulture; native ferments in closed and open fermenters, barrels and amphora; skin contact 10–99 days; matured ~13 months in French oak (≈50% new); no added yeast, acid or malolactic.

Cullen Wines, founded in 1971 by Dr Kevin and Diana Cullen in Margaret River. A family-run biodynamic and carbon-neutral pioneer; Vanya Cullen leads winemaking. Diana Madeline is the estate flagship from Wilyabrup old-vine blocks.
