Tasting Note
Aromatic, medium-bodied Rioja blanco with wilted flowers, honey, apricot jam, light toasted oak and mineral notes; balanced acidity and a gentle, slightly nutty finish.
Food Pairing
Western: grilled seafood, roast chicken, paella, tapas and mild cheeses (Manchego). Asian: sushi/sashimi, tempura, grilled white fish, Thai lemongrass chicken, stir-fried vegetables.
Production Method
Hand-harvested Viura (with some Malvasía); fermented and aged on fine lees in French oak barrels (~3 months); light oak influence and bottle aging before release.

Historic Conde de los Andes label revived by the Murúa family (Bodegas Muriel/Ollauri). Grapes sourced from ~30-year-old vineyards around Ollauri, Haro and Briñas in Rioja Alta.
