Tasting Note

Fresh red cherry and raspberry, wild strawberry, floral violet notes, light spice and gentle earthiness. Silky, supple texture with bright acidity, delicate tannins and a mineral-edged, refreshing finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast chicken, pork chops, mushroom risotto, charcuterie, duck breast. Asian: char siu, teriyaki chicken, bulgogi, grilled mackerel (saba), mushroom stir-fries with soy and sesame.


Production Method

Co-fermented Pinot Noir and Gamay (field blend), whole-cluster/long maceration, low-intervention vinification, matured in mostly used oak with a small percentage new wood, bottled unfiltered.

Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot, founded by Jack Confuron and Bernadette Cotetidot (1964), is a family estate in Vosne-Romanée (~11–12 ha). Run today by Yves and Jean-Pierre Confuron; practices low-yield, traditional/organic methods.
