Tasting Note
Ripe cherry, blackberry and red-plum with rose, licorice, cedar and tobacco; vanilla and spicy oak from extended maturation. Full-bodied with vibrant acidity, velvety tannins and a long, mineral-tinged finish.

Food Pairing
Tuscan bistecca alla Fiorentina, roasted lamb, wild boar ragù, mushroom risotto, aged Pecorino; Asian pairings: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (galbi), rich braised beef or spicy Szechuan dishes.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Sangiovese; traditional fermentation and ageing in oak (minimum oak ageing per DOCG) with additional bottle ageing; estate certified organic viticulture at Col d'Orcia.
