Awards/Ratings
Critical scores: Vinous 96 (Antonio Galloni), Robert Parker/Wine Advocate 96 (Erin Brooks; 96+ noted for some single-block bottlings), Wine Enthusiast 95, Decanter 95, Jeb Dunnuck ~96
Tasting Note
Crimson red fruits—pomegranate, crushed cherry and blood orange—framed by lavender, mint, white pepper and sea-spray minerality. Chalky tannins and bright acidity give a precise, lingering, herb-tinged finish.
Food Pairing
Roasted chicken, mushroom risotto, grilled salmon, lamb; Asian: miso-glazed black cod, soy/ginger pork, duck bao, teriyaki salmon.
Production Method
Cold-climate farming on marine sedimentary soils; ~40% whole-cluster inclusion, fermented in small lots and aged in French oak barrels. No-till/organic practices on estate blocks.
