Tasting Note
Full-bodied, smooth California Cabernet with plum, blackberry, mocha and toasted oak; black cherry and cassis framed by subtle vanilla and cocoa. Ripe fruit, round tannins and a long, silky finish.

Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, barbecue short ribs, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Chinese char siu, Szechuan or Cantonese beef dishes, Indonesian beef rendang, teriyaki beef.
Production Method
Sourced from multiple California vineyards; mostly whole-cluster to stainless-steel fermentation with gentle extraction. Selected lots racked to oak and aged about 4–5 months to balance fruit and oak.

Founded in 1974 by Frank Woods in Alexander Valley. A large-scale California brand sourcing growers statewide; later owned by Constellation and the brand assets were sold (portfolio acquisitions include Gallo).
