Tasting Note
Concentrated Pomerol: dark cherry, blackcurrant, violet and truffle notes with cocoa, espresso and iron-mineral hints. Silky, layered fruit with lively acidity, polished powdery tannins and a long, savory finish.

Food Pairing
Roasted lamb, beef côte de boeuf, mushroom risotto, aged Comté; Asian: Peking duck, Cantonese roast pork (char siu), braised short ribs, umami-rich mushroom or soy-glazed dishes.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; cold pre-fermentation maceration, prolonged vatting (~30 days) with gentle extraction in stainless steel/concrete; aged 18–19 months in ~80% new French oak; minimal racking.

Owned by the Laborde family (since 1999) and run by Ronan Laborde. ~11–11.5 ha on Pomerol plateau, high-density plantings, long-established vineyards and modernized gravity-fed cellar.
