Tasting Note

Blackcurrant and blackberry core with cedar, graphite, violet and tobacco notes. Medium–full body, precise acidity, firm polished tannins and a long, saline finish. (Classic Pauillac profile).

Western: roast lamb, ribeye/entrecôte, beef brisket, aged cheddar/Comté, duck confit. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean bulgogi/galbi, miso-marinated beef, Sichuan-style beef.


Production Method

Hand-harvested fruit, parcel vinification in stainless steel/temperature-controlled vats, gravity-fed cellar; élevage ~16–18 months with ~40% new oak. Sustainable practices/HVE-certified on estate.

Château Clerc Milon (41 ha) is a 1855 Fifth Growth owned by the Rothschild family since 1970; located on the Mousset ridge between Lafite and Mouton. Mature vines, high density planting and recent cellar modernizations.
