Tasting Note
Brilliant deep red. Intense black-fruit nose with black cherry and cassis; velvety, gently extracted tannins. Powerful, fruity palate with liquorice and spice on the finish, elegant and balanced.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, grilled rib-eye, duck confit, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese BBQ pork), Korean BBQ (bulgogi, galbi), Szechuan beef or teriyaki beef with steamed rice.
Production Method
Traditional fermentation with gentle extraction; blended by Domaine Clarence Dillon oenologists and cellared in Bordeaux before release. No oak ageing for this cuvée (preserves fruit purity).
