Tasting Note

Aromas of red berries, blackcurrant and violet; ripe blackberry and blueberry on the palate with supple, powdery tannins, gentle oak spice and fresh acidity. Full-bodied, velvety texture and a long, savory finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast lamb, beef steaks, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese BBQ pork), Korean BBQ beef, braised beef with soy and star anise, Sichuan-style beef (moderately spiced).


Production Method

Classic Bordeaux vinification: destemmed grapes, temperature-controlled fermentation, malolactic fermentation and maturation in French oak barrels prior to bottling.
