Awards/Ratings
well reviewed by retailers and critics (product descriptions & reviews). Sources: iDealwine (technical & tasting), Millesima listing, La Route des Blancs review, Bibendum retailer
Tasting Note
Aromatic, floral and white-fruited: pear, white peach and subtle stone-fruit with citrus lift, saline limestone minerality and lees-driven creaminess; precise, balanced and medium‑full-bodied with a lingering, savory finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roasted/poached chicken, grilled sea bass, shellfish risotto, creamy poultry dishes. Asian: soy‑honey glazed salmon, Thai green curry, tandoori chicken, Vietnamese spring rolls. Also pairs with Moroccan tagine and aged soft cheeses.
Production Method
Hand‑harvested; only first‑press juice retained. Vinified and aged on lees in tulip‑shaped concrete vats (rounded bottoms) for several months; minimal intervention.
Vineyard Info
Château des Tourettes, run by Jean‑Marie (and Maine) Guffens since late 1990s; vineyards replanted by massale selection on limestone soils of the Plateau de l’Aigle (c.400–420m). Tinus is the estate’s premium white range.
