Tasting Note
Crisp, mineral-driven Chenin with citrus, quince and green apple, wet-stone and honeyed notes, creamy mid-palate and saline almond finish, bright acidity and long, focused finish.

Production Method
Biodynamically farmed, hand-harvested Chenin; spontaneous/native-yeast fermentation, partial malo-lactic, aged ~12 months in oak (≈10% new) with minimal sulphur and low intervention.

Château de Plaisance (Butte de Chaume area) — long family history under the Rochais, biodynamic/organic since the 1990s; Vanessa Cherruau took over winemaking/ownership in 2019. Soils: schist, spilit, sandstone and poudingue.
