Tasting Note
Concentrated black cherry, cassis and damson plum with truffle, tobacco and cedar notes. Silky, layered palate with dark chocolate, mineral lift and powdery tannins; long, savory finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roasted lamb, grilled ribeye, beef Wellington, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, Cantonese char siu, braised beef short ribs, shiitake and soy mushroom stir-fry.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, destemmed grapes; fermentations in temperature-controlled vats; matured in oak (approx. 30% new) for extended ageing before bottling.

Small, historic 5–5.5 ha estate on the Pomerol plateau, long associated with the de May family; today owned/managed by the Barreau-Badar family with Moueix consulting links.
