Tasting Note
Ripe plum and blueberry compote with redcurrant, black truffle, pencil shavings and forest-floor notes. Medium-plus body, fine-grained tannins, seamless freshness and a long, earthy finish.

Roast lamb, beef short ribs, duck confit, mushroom risotto; Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ, miso-glazed aubergine, braised beef with soy and star anise.
Production Method
Hand-harvested, destemmed; alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts; malolactic in barrels; aged 12–14 months in 60–80% new French oak.
Vineyard Info
Historic Pomerol estate (de May family origins); 5–5.5 ha on the central plateau near Vieux Château Certan. Owned by the Barreau-Badar family, managed by Jean-Luc Barreau.
