Tasting Note
Citrus oil and lemon curd with stone fruit (peach, apricot), white flowers and flinty mineral notes; new‑oak toast, vanilla and hazelnut; dry, creamy mid‑palate, bright acidity and a long saline finish.

Grilled or roasted white fish, shellfish (clams, prawns), seared scallops, roast chicken, pork with herbs, creamy soft cheeses; Asian: Cantonese steamed fish, sushi/sashimi, tempura, light Thai or Vietnamese fish dishes.

Production Method
100% Encruzado; gentle pressing, fermentation in new French oak barrels, 12 months élevage in new French oak (≈3 months on fine lees with bâtonnage), followed by bottle maturation.

Casa de Santar is a historic Dão estate (late 18th century) within the Global Wines group. Vinha dos Amores is the estate’s flagship granitic‑slope parcel planted to Encruzado and Touriga Nacional.
