Tasting Note
Blackcurrant and blackberry with cedar, violets, leather and dark chocolate; firm, dusty tannins early on that have softened to a savory, tobacco-tinged finish. Medium-plus body, classic Margaux elegance.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, beef short ribs, duck confit, aged cheddar. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (barbecue pork), beef bulgogi, Cantonese roasted meats, rich mushroom stir-fries.
Production Method
Hand-harvested Bordeaux blend; fermentations in tank with extended maceration; aged ~12–18 months in French oak barrels (portion new oak used). Traditional château vinification.
Vineyard Info
