Tasting Note
Deep mahogany; intense raisin, toffee, caramel, fig and dried fruit with nutty rancio, spice and long, drying tannin—luxuriously viscous and extraordinarily concentrated.
Food Pairing
Western: vintage blue cheese, salted caramel desserts, dark chocolate, crème brûlée, foie gras. Asian: mooncakes, sticky rice desserts, char siu/hoisin-glazed duck, miso-glazed pork, sesame or soy-salted nut desserts.
Production Method
Late-harvest Muscat grapes fortified and blended through an aged solera/puncheon system, matured for decades in oak before bottling.
Vineyard Info
