Tasting Note
Pronounced coastal peat smoke with medicinal/peat ash notes, citrus peel, sea salt, vanilla, toffee and dark chocolate. Long, peppery, mineral finish with a lingering smoky sweetness.

Food Pairing
Western: smoked brisket, grilled lamb, cured meats, blue cheese, dark chocolate. Asian: miso‑glazed black cod, grilled squid, Korean BBQ, ramen with pork belly, sushi with oily fish (salmon/aji).

Production Method
Made from 100% Scottish malted barley peated to ~40 ppm; distilled in tall, narrow-neck pot stills; matured 10 years in 65% first-fill American oak, 10% second-fill American and 25% second-fill French wine casks; bottled unchillfiltered at 50% ABV with no added colouring.

Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, revived in 2001; known for terroir-focused practices. Port Charlotte is the distillery’s heavily peated single-malt range; the 10-year-old is their age-statement core expression.
