Tasting Note
Pale lemon with beeswax, lemon and Tahitian lime, faint toast and saline minerality. Featherweight texture, piercing acidity and intense, palate-staining citrus with extremely long finish.

Food Pairing
Western: oysters, grilled prawns, roast chicken, goat cheese, lemon sole. Asian: Vietnamese-style freshwater fish, Thai green curry (mild), Singapore chilli crab, sashimi, light Chinese steamed fish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, crushed chilled and pressed immediately; fermented in stainless steel with neutral yeast; no malolactic fermentation or oak; released after extended bottle ageing (~5–6 years).

Brokenwood, founded 1970, produces ILR as its prestige Semillon named for Iain Leslie Riggs; made from best parcels in the Hunter Valley and only released in top years.
