Concentrated blackcurrant and blackberry, eucalyptus, graphite and dried herbs; spice, cocoa and leather notes. Firm, granular tannins, lively acidity and a long, savory finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, sorted; cold maceration and spontaneous fermentation in concrete/egg vats; extended maceration, malolactic in barrel; ~22 months in French oak (c.95% new). Organic/vinification with low sulfur and vegan-friendly practices.

Boekenhoutskloof: historic Franschhoek estate (orig. 1776), revitalised under Marc Kent; sources fruit from two adjacent vineyards on deep alluvial and decomposed granitic soils. Renowned South African premium producer.
