Awards/Ratings

Selected reviews: Wine Front 94pts (2021 vintage, Mike Bennie); Halliday/Wine Companion coverage and high scores across recent vintages (e. g. 95 pts for related Dixon/Bindi pinot releases). 5% for the 2020 Dixon

Tasting Note

Perfumed red-fruited pinot: rose and cherry aromatics with strawberry, rhubarb and sweet spice. Palate is fresh, supple and textured with fine-grained tannins, bright acidity and a lingering, earthy finish.

Food Pairing

Western: roast duck breast, mushroom risotto, roast pork, lamb ragu. Asian: hoisin or Peking duck, miso-glazed salmon, pork belly with five-spice, shiitake ramen or sambal eggplant.

Production Method

100% de-stemmed, open-vat fermentation with wild yeast; matured ~10–11 months in French oak barrels (about 10–15% new). Bottled earlier than estate single-vineyard pinots.
