Tasting Note
Perfumed cherry and raspberry with plum, dried herbs, sandalwood and wet-earth notes. Plush, velvety tannins, bright acidity and chalky mineral finish. Layered, structured and ageworthy with a long, refined finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested fruit from old-vine parcels; natural yeast fermentation in open-top barrels/barriques with 6–8 manual punch‑downs daily; maceration ~7–10 days; aged ~20 months in old barriques; minimal intervention.

Bibi Graetz, artist-turned-winemaker based at Castello di Vincigliata (Fiesole). Testamatta is his flagship Sangiovese cuvée, first released in 2000 using selected parcels across Tuscan hilltops.
