Tasting Note
Concentrated black cherry and blackberry with truffle, graphite and dark chocolate notes. Chalky minerality, floral lift and firm, fine-grained tannins lead to an intense, long, saline finish.

Food Pairing
Roast lamb, ribeye, mushroom risotto, aged comté or gouda; Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ short ribs, char siu, braised beef hot pot.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, fermented in temperature-controlled vats, malolactic conversion, aged ~18 months in French oak (≈80% new). Low yields and careful selection for the Grand Vin.

Château Beauséjour (Duffau‑Lagarrosse) — a small Premier Grand Cru Classé B estate on St‑Émilion’s limestone slopes. Modern era improved under consultants Nicolas Thienpont and Stéphane Derenoncourt.
