Tasting Note

Black cherry, plum, cedar, graphite and earthy mineral notes; concentrated with firm, ripe tannins, noticeable oak and balanced acidity; medium‑full body and a lingering finish.

Western: roast lamb, beef tournedos, duck breast, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (roast pork), Korean bulgogi, miso‑glazed eggplant, braised short ribs.


Production Method

Cold maceration and fermentation in stainless steel (portion whole‑berry); malolactic in tank/barrel; aged ~16–18 months in French oak (≈55% new) with some élevage in clay amphorae.

Family-owned by the Bécot family since 1969 on the Saint‑Émilion limestone plateau. Merlot‑dominated Right Bank estate producing a Premier Grand Cru Classé B bottling.
