Tasting Note
Fresh tawny with dried apricot, toasted almond, toffee and caramel notes, a light coffee‑cake finish; medium‑sweet, smooth and full‑bodied.
Food Pairing
Blue cheese, aged cheddar, crème brûlée, almond tart, chocolate desserts; baklava, Chinese mooncake, sesame balls, roasted duck with plum sauce, sticky rice desserts.
Production Method
Grapes fermented in lagares or vats, fortified with grape spirit to stop fermentation, then aged oxidatively in small oak casks (tawnification) and blended before bottling in 5cl miniatures.
