Tasting Note

Complex dried-fruit profile (fig, raisin, apricot) with toasted nuts, caramel, orange zest, cinnamon and vanilla; silky texture, fresh balancing acidity and a long, spicy nutty finish.

Western: blue and mature cheeses, pecan pie, crème brûlée, fruitcake, roasted nuts. Asian: mooncakes and egg-custard tarts, mango sticky rice, char siu (barbecue pork), Peking duck.


Production Method

Blend of traditional Douro varieties fortified with grape spirit; matured on average 20 years in oak casks under oxidative conditions, then blended and bottled.
