Tasting Note
Heathered peat smoke layered with Balvenie’s honeyed malt, vanilla, citrus peel and butterscotch; toasted oak and gentle spice, medium-long finish with creamy vanilla and lingering soot.

Western: smoked or gravlax salmon, roast lamb, aged cheddar or blue cheese, dark chocolate, smoked almonds. Asian: miso-glazed cod or eggplant, char siu, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), yakitori skewers.
Production Method
Single malt from 100% malted barley produced during annual 'Peat Week' using local Speyside peat; matured mainly in American oak (ex-bourbon) casks for 14 years; natural colour, non-chill-filtered, bottled at 48.3% ABV.
