Tasting Note

Velvety, sweet cream liqueur with rich chocolate, vanilla and coffee notes, soft toasted oak and gentle Irish-whiskey warmth; silky mouthfeel and a smooth, lingering sweet finish.

Production Method

Fresh Irish cream homogenised with Irish whiskey and neutral spirits using a refined vegetable-oil emulsifier; blended with cocoa and vanilla flavours, then bottled (no added preservatives due to alcohol content).

Created for Gilbeys of Ireland in 1974 (invented by Tom Jago); brand now owned and produced by Diageo. Baileys is the original and best‑known Irish cream liqueur worldwide.
