Tasting Note

Pale lemon. Pear, white peach, citrus rind and subtle stone-fruit with saline-mineral and light spice. Medium-bodied, textured and precise with a savory, gently oak-tinged finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast chicken, buttered lobster, creamy mushroom pasta, aged Comté. Asian: sushi/sashimi, miso-glazed cod, tempura, Cantonese roast pork.


Production Method

Hand-harvested grapes; fermented in French oak barrels (partial new oak) with malolactic fermentation and 10–14 months élevage on fine lees, limited filtration.

Domaine Bachelet-Monnot (est. 2005) farms ~20 ha in Maranges/Côte de Beaune. Alexandre and Marc Bachelet source well-sited Chassagne parcels averaging ~30 years old, producing village and grand cru whites and reds.
