Tasting Note

Perfumed redcurrant and cranberry with rose petal, orange rind and subtle forest-floor earthiness; medium-bodied, bright acidity, melting tannins and a saline, slightly rustic finish.

Western: roast duck, coq au vin, mushroom risotto, pork tenderloin, roast beef. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, miso‑glazed salmon, teriyaki chicken, Korean bulgogi, mushroom ramen.


Production Method

Hand‑harvested Pinot Noir from Puligny‑Montrachet, Maranges and Hautes‑Côtes; ~30% whole‑cluster, native ferment in concrete with gentle extraction; aged mainly in used barrels with modest new oak; farmed organically (not certified).

Domaine Bachelet‑Monnot founded 2005 by brothers Marc and Alexandre Bachelet in Dezize‑lès‑Maranges; ~22 ha across Puligny, Chassagne, Maranges and Santenay; family lineage, organic practices, rising Côte de Beaune domaine.
