Tasting Note
Straw-yellow with golden hues; aromas of white flowers, citrus, butter and baked bread. Creamy, textured palate of orchard fruit, toasted almond and light spice, bright acidity and a long, savory finish.

Grilled or roasted fish, seafood paella, roasted chicken, creamy cheeses (Brie/Camembert), Iberian ham/tapas; sushi, tempura, dim sum, Chinese stir-fries, pork dumplings, mild curries.

Production Method
Fermentation begins in stainless steel, finishes in French oak; aged 10–12 months on fine lees in French oak barrels, plus a minimum 24 months bottle ageing.

Bodegas Cosme Palacio (est. family winery 1863; advanced by Cosme Palacio in 1894) in Rioja Alavesa produces traditional oak-aged blancos from old Viura vineyards.
