Tasting Note

Violet‑red, intensely herbal: mint, eucalyptus, juniper and balsamic notes. Bittersweet palate with a pleasant astringency and a slightly bitter finish, sugary backbone suited to desserts or after-dinner sipping.


Food Pairing

Serve chilled as a digestif; pairs with vanilla gelato, chocolate desserts, biscotti, almond cookies, mature cheeses, roasted pork or game (western); with sesame or matcha desserts, mochi, sweet red-bean desserts, and other Asian sweets.


Production Method

Made by alcoholic infusion/maceration of red myrtle berries (the ‘fiore’) in neutral spirit, blended and sweetened; traditionally artisanal, no artificial dyes or preservatives.

Argiolas, founded 1938, is a leading family winery of Sardinia producing wines and traditional island liqueurs. Tremontis Mirto is their commercial mirto made from locally harvested myrtle berries.
