Powerful Islay peat and smoke with espresso, dark chocolate, dried fruit (prune/raisin), Oloroso sweetness, sea salt, tobacco and citrus zest; oily, warming and complex

Food Pairing
Western: grilled/charred lamb, smoked brisket, blue cheese, dark chocolate desserts. Asian: miso-glazed fish, yakitori (grilled chicken), Korean BBQ, smoky Sichuan dishes, sushi with smoked eel.

Production Method
Single malt distilled on Islay; matured in a mix of ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, married and bottled at cask strength (no age statement).

Produced by Ardbeg Distillery on Islay (est. commercial 1815). Uigeadail launched 2003 and named for Loch Uigeadail, the distillery’s water source. Distillery is part of the Glenmorangie/LVMH group.
