Tasting Note
Opaque, intensely fruity with black cherry, plum, licorice, cocoa and warm spice; sandalwood and toasted oak; full, ripe palate with firm chalky tannins and long, persistent finish.

Western: roasted lamb, grilled beef, game, braised short ribs, mushroom pasta, aged Manchego; Asian: Korean BBQ, char siu/roast pork, Peking duck, Szechuan beef, teriyaki beef skewers.

Production Method
Cold maceration and controlled fermentation in stainless steel; malolactic in oak; aged ~18–20 months in new French and American oak barriques.

Founded 2002 as a partnership between Jorge Ordóñez, Australian winemaker Chris Ringland and Bodegas Borsao. Focuses on old-vine Garnacha from Tabuenca and Borja vineyards (40–70 years).
