Tasting Note
Powerful Barolo with lilac and rose florals, cherry and raspberry fruit, tar, tobacco, sandalwood and baking spice; dense, chewy tannins and a very long, spicy finish.

Food Pairing
Roast beef, braised lamb, truffle/mushroom risotto, tajarin or ragù pasta, aged Pecorino; Asian: Peking duck, char siu (barbecue pork), Korean bulgogi or soy‑braised beef, and mushroom hotpots.

Production Method
100% Nebbiolo with ~30 days skin contact (fermentation peaks to ~32°C); racked and aged in large Slavonian oak casks with noticeable new‑oak influence before bottling.

Poderi Aldo Conterno (est. 1969). Romirasco is a prime cru in Bussia; vines ~50–55 years, Nebbiolo Lampia on Rupestris rootstock.
