Tasting Note
Lustrous topaz. Ethereal, floral nose with honey, figs, plums, mocha, dark chocolate and toasted oak. Palate shows macerated dried fruits, marmalade, cocoa and subtle spice; supremely elegant with a long, refined finish.
Food Pairing
Western: dark chocolate, tarte Tatin, foie gras, blue cheese, roasted duck. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, mooncakes, miso‑glazed dishes, five‑spice pork, preserved orange peel desserts.
Production Method
Blend of old Grande Champagne eaux‑de‑vie aged in Limousin oak casks for multiple generations (≈75 years average), including small proportions from early 1900s; matured in humid cellars and married before bottling.
